SWISS air­line has in­tro­duced new amenity kits for its busi­ness class pas­sen­gers on long-haul flights. In col­lab­o­ra­tion with Swiss knife and lug­gage brand Vic­tori­nox, the air­line has launched six dif­fer­ent kits “in a mul­ti­func­tional de­sign”. These will be avail­able dur­ing dif­fer­ent time periods on-board for the next three years. Pas­sen­gers trav­el­ling to Switzer­land will be of­fered a “high-qual­ity metal tin that is mod­elled on the Vic­tori­nox suit­case de­sign and can fur­ther be used as a pen or pen­cil box”. Guests trav­el­ling from Switzer­land will get a “pass­port holder, a travel toi­letries bag with inner pock­ets and a longer bag with an inner pocket”. All kits will in­clude a tooth­brush, tooth­paste, lip salve, sleep mask, socks and ear plugs. This spring the car­rier is also of­fer­ing premium pas­sen­gers on in­tercon­ti­nen­tal flights a range of meals cre­ated by Franck Rey­naud, Miche­lin starred chef de cui­sine Can­ton Valais ski and va­ca­tion re­sort Hostel­lerie du Pas del’ Ours. Dishes in­clude gravad Valais per ch with horse­rad­ish and yo­ghurt re­moulade, served with ab­sin the­mar­i­nated cu­cum­ber, braised beef with Hu­magne Rouge sauce, and le­mon sole with bouil­l­abaisse sauce.
