Jet Air­ways to launch sec­ond daily Ben­galu­ruSin­ga­pore flight

Act­ing on the ris­ing de­mand on the Ben­galuru-Sin­ga­pore sec­tor, Jet Air­ways will launch a sec­ond daily direct flight be­tween the two ports on March 15, 2018.

Flight 9W 26, will de­part from Ben­galuru at 0205 and ar­rive in Sin­ga­pore at 0915. Re­turn flight 9W 25 will de­part from Sin­ga­pore at 1015 and ar­rive in Ben­galuru at 1210.

Dur­ing the sum­mer sched­ule, the tim­ings of the flight will change to de­part from Ben­galuru at 0130 to ar­rive in Sin­ga­pore at 0855. The re­turn flight from Sin­ga­pore will how­ever, con­tinue to de­part at 1015 to ar­rive into Ben­galuru at 1210.

Whole time direc­tor at Jet Air­ways, Gau­rang Shetty says “Jet Air­ways has seen an en­thu­si­as­tic re­sponse from its guests trav­el­ling be­tween Ben­galuru and Sin­ga­pore. We recog­nise the need for bol­ster­ing our ex­ist­ing ser­vice and pro­vide guests with ad­di­tional op­tions to plan their travel. This sec­ond daily ser­vice will ben­e­fit busi­ness trav­ellers who are look­ing at tap­ping into In­dia and Sin­ga­pore’s promis­ing com­mer­cial opportunities.”

Re­turn econ­omy tick­ets for the new ser­vice will be of­fered at a dis­counted rate start­ing ₹ 11,768. These spe­cial-priced tick­ets can be booked from Fe­bru­ary 15, 2018 and are ap­pli­ca­ble for jour­neys start­ing March 15, 2018. The air­line hasn’t men­tioned an ex­piry date for this yet.

As per the air­line’s press release, the new fre­quency will of­fer con­nect­ing flights to Den­pasar/ Bali, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur op­er­ated by code­share part­ners Garuda and Malaysian Air­lines via Sin­ga­pore.

Jet Air­ways will also of­fer a con­nec­tion to Am­s­ter­dam via Ben­galuru to guests trav­el­ling from the Indo-Pa­cific (Fiji, Dar­win, Phuket, Pe­nang, Sydney, Mel­bourne, Perth and Bris­bane) on code­share part­ners that in­clude Fiji Air­ways, Jet­star Asia and Qan­tas.

The air­line’s non-stop ser­vice be­tween Ben­galuru and Am­s­ter­dam launched last year in code­shar­ing part­ner­ship with KLM Royal Dutch Air­lines, Air France and Delta Air Lines.
