“PDT” Opens at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

New York City’s iconic Please Don’t Tell (PDT) cocktail bar has collaborated with Landmark Mandarin Oriental’s new concept bar in Hong Kong. This is the first permanent PDT outlet to open outside New York. It is known for its stylish interiors, creative cocktails and talented bar team, and occupies the mezzanine floor above the hotel’s all-day dining venue. Guests can walk into the 25-seat lounge through an entrance designed as a phone booth. Cocktails on the menu are a blend of PDTs American classics and new creations crafted specially for its customers in Hong Kong. The food selection is based on Chef Richard Ekkebus’ take on American comfort food. Specials include the bacon-wrapped, deepfried beef dog with kimchi; fried pork dog with sakura shrimp; and okonomiyaki-style tater tots topped with kewpie mayonnaise, takoyaki sauce, shredded nori, bonito shavings and scallions.
