BMW i3 showcased at the Auto Expo 2018

Unveiled at Auto Expo 2018, BMW’s all-electric creation, the i3 is the second car from the “i-series” to be launched in India — after the i8. The electric car that is built from sustainable materials takes “39 minutes to 80 per cent charge on quick charging stations”. Lightly press the accelerator to take the sporty i3 from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.9 seconds. Dr Norbert Reithofer, chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMW promises that “it’s pure driving pleasure”.
