It is a sanctuary for the slithering reptiles. e inhabitant­s of this village don’t nd it unusual to have stray snakes curled up in their homes or even classrooms. In fact, snakes are worshipped here and every home has a designated place for them called Devasthan, which translates to resting place of the Gods. Children playing with cobras is a common sight in the sleepy town. ey assure hesitant tourists that snakebites haven’t been reported so far, but who is to say.
