BRITISH AIRWAYS REVAMPS WORLD TRAVELLER FOOD

-

BRITISH AIRWAYS HAS revamped its World Traveller catering, which will provide long-haul passengers with “more quantity and quality”. The move follows the carrier’s recent revamp of its Club World dining service and forms part of a wholescale £4.5 billion investment programme.

New options include pretzels with the welcome drink, four-course meal with starter, main, dessert, and cheese and biscuits, and a second meal “or substantial snack” depending on the length of the flight. On flights to the Middle East (Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia,) passengers are served chicken in spicy Arabic sauce.

The second meal on shorter daylight long-haul flights, such as Dubai and New York, will consist of a sandwich (eg egg and cress) and a chocolate or Nutri Grain bar. britishairways.com
