BMW MOTORRAD INTRODUCES TWO “MADE-IN-INDIA” MOTORCYCLES
MARKING ITS FORAY into the sub-500 cc segment in India, BMW Motorrad announced two new motorcycle models for the Indian market. The much-awaited BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS are designed in Munich by BMW Motorrad and will be produced in Hosur, India, in collaboration with TVS Motor Company. Attractively priced at `2.99 lakh and `3.49 lakh respectively, the BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS are powered by a 313-cc singlecylinder four-stroke engine, translating to an output of 34 hp and a maximum torque of 28 Nm. The bikes can go from 0 to 50 kmph in no more than 2.5 seconds and can go up to a speed of lkjh143 kmph.
While the bikes will be sold through BMW Motorrad’s widespread dealer network across India, the company also announced, to the delight of buyers, that both models will come with a standard warranty for three years and unlimited kilometres. bmw-motorrad.in
