BMW MOTORRAD IN­TRO­DUCES TWO “MADE-IN-IN­DIA” MO­TOR­CY­CLES

MARK­ING ITS FORAY into the sub-500 cc seg­ment in In­dia, BMW Motorrad an­nounced two new mo­tor­cy­cle mod­els for the In­dian mar­ket. The much-awaited BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS are de­signed in Mu­nich by BMW Motorrad and will be pro­duced in Ho­sur, In­dia, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with TVS Mo­tor Com­pany. At­trac­tively priced at `2.99 lakh and `3.49 lakh re­spec­tively, the BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS are pow­ered by a 313-cc sin­gle­cylin­der four-stroke en­gine, trans­lat­ing to an out­put of 34 hp and a max­i­mum torque of 28 Nm. The bikes can go from 0 to 50 kmph in no more than 2.5 sec­onds and can go up to a speed of lkjh143 kmph.

While the bikes will be sold through BMW Motorrad’s wide­spread dealer net­work across In­dia, the com­pany also an­nounced, to the de­light of buy­ers, that both mod­els will come with a stan­dard war­ranty for three years and un­lim­ited kilo­me­tres. bmw-motorrad.in
