From the stylish 356 ‘No 1’ Road­ster in 1948 to this decade’s lat­est model Porsche 911 GT2 RS that launched in In­dia, the Porsche brand has been syn­ony­mous with sports car con­struc­tion at the very high­est level. The Ger­man man­u­fac­turer, who for­ayed into the In­dian mar­ket in the year 2004, has grad­u­ally been mak­ing its way up as the most-soughtafter lux­ury sports car la­bel. This year, Porsche cel­e­brates 70 years with nu­mer­ous ac­tiv­i­ties around the world.

Sportscars are as­pi­ra­tional and a dream for most in In­dia, and with the in­tro­duc­tion of the 718 Boxster and Cay­man, Porsche now have a full range of sportscars, which meet var­i­ous de­mands. Cur­rently, Porsche In­dia of­fers nine vari­ants of the iconic 911. Ad­di­tion­ally, the brand also has the 4-door lux­ury sa­loon – the Panam­era, which is avail­able as a E-Hy­brid, and the Cayenne and Ma­can SUVs for In­dia. Porsche in In­dia has deal­ers across var­i­ous ci­ties in­clud­ing Mum­bai, Ben­galuru, Gur­gaon, Ahmed­abad, Kolkata and Kochi.
