ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM (8TH GENERATION)
This year, Rolls-Royce rolled out its eighth generation Phantom in India. The model has a contemporary feel to it, and is said to be an evolution of its predecessors.
The new Phantom is built on an aluminium spaceframe architecture. The Phantom is available in two wheelbase lengths. The Phantom Extended Wheelbase is 220 mm longer than the standard model.
It comes with 6.75-litre, twin-turbocharged V12 engine, and can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 5.3 seconds. The new model delivers 563 horsepower and 900 nm of torque. Laser headlights with high-beam range of more than 600 metres is one the highlights of this model.
A new glass-encased space, called 'gallery' stretches from the steering to the passenger side door on the dashboard. This space can be used to display anything of the owner's choice from artwork to colour preference.
Needless to say, the eighth generation Phantom comes with a range of customisation options for you to choose from. rolls-roycemotorcars.com
