THE RED TELEPHONE BOX FROM LONDON
Considered among the top ten design symbols of Britain, the iconic red telephone boxes continue to dot the streets of London. In this era of smartphones, the telephone boxes are not much in use anymore, though they stand as a testimony to London's love for its heritage. The first booth, called Kiosk No. 1 or K1 was introduced in 1920 and successive models, over decades have been released. The London telephone box is characterised by its bright red colour and the crown emblazoned on the top.
