Subway to connect Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 1 with Magenta Line

SOON, THE DELHI METRO MAGENTA Line will directly serve Terminal 1 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport. A 370-metre long subway will connect the arrival and departure of the domestic terminal with gate number three of the metro station.

Constructed using state-of-the-art technology, the subway will feature li s and special travelators to enhance the commuter’s experience in addition to providing easy transfer facilities.

Commuters travelling to and from the terminal will be able to directly access the metro station using two entry/exit points — one each at the arrival and departure of the airport terminal. Each entry/exit will also have two escalators and two li s along with a staircase.
