SPICEJET will launch daily direct flights between Mumbai and Bangkok. The low-cost carrier will commence this service from May 17, 2019. Bangkok is the second internatio­nal destinatio­n after Dubai, served by SpiceJet with a direct service from Mumbai.

INDIGO has announced the addition of Jeddah and Dammam as its 17th and 18th internatio­nal destinatio­ns. As a part of its internatio­nal network, the low-cost carrier will also connect Mumbai with Abu Dhabi.

VISTARA launches 14 new flights on its domestic network. The new flights will be operating until July 15, 2019. Under the new schedule, five daily flights are to be operated between Mumbai and Bengaluru; and one daily flight (each) on the Mumbai – Hyderabad, and Mumbai – Kolkata routes.

AIRASIA is to start direct flights between Bangkok and Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Starting from May 31, the airline will operate this route four times a week — Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

AIR INDIA has introduced direct flights on between Delhi and Kannur, Kerala. The flag carrier of India will be operating five flights a week between Delhi and Kozhikode via Kannur. The airline will be deploying it’s A320neo aircraft on this DelhiKannu­r route.
