Kerala-based instrumental engineer-turned-photographer, Saahil Rahman has an a inity towards encapsulating the beauty of unique Indian destinations. His trip to Ladakh last year took him to a small village located in Kargil called Karith Village. With a population of only 500 who live in 50 houses, the town in the Union Territory is rich with cultural diversity. Located in between dramatically coloured mountains and moon-line terrains, its landscape is aweinspiring. Rahman used a Dji Mavic 2 Pro (a drone) to capture this surreal shot that he has submitted for the 2020 Sony World Photography Awards.
