NO NIGHT FLIGHTS AT PUNE AIRPORT FOR A YEAR

PUNE AIRPORT WILL not operate any night ights for a year due to the re-carpeting work that is underway on the runway of the airport.

“Since the work is planned during the night time, the runway will be shut for ight operations between 2000 and 0800 hours,” said Kuldip Singh, airport director, Pune Airport.

All the night ight services, including take-o s as well as landings, have been spread out in the day time, as per Singh. On an average, ten ight services from the night hours will be scheduled in the day time.
