The new Honda Jazz has arrived, priced from Rs 7.35 lakh (exshowroom), in seven variants: four petrol and three diesel.
The updated premium hatchback features some refreshed design elements on the exterior of the car in addition to two new colour shades. The centre console houses a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Mechanically, the Jazz remains the same. The familiar 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine powers the petrol variants, making 90 PS and 110 Nm. The diesel variants draw motive force from the 1.5-litre i-DTEC turbodiesel engine that churns out 100 PS and peak 200 Nm.
The petrol variants are priced between Rs 7.35 lakh and Rs 8.99 lakh. The four variants are the V and VX with a five-speed manual and a CVT automatic each. The three diesel variants will be offered only with a manual six-speed transmission in S, V and VX trims, priced between Rs 8.05 lakh and Rs 9.29 lakh.
