Nis­san have anounced their strat­egy for In­dia that will in­volve ev­ery­thing from new launches, fur­ther strength­en­ing of the Nis­san and Dat­sun brands, an ex­panded dealer net­work, and im­proved man­u­fac­tur­ing as well as R&D.

The prod­uct of­fen­sive will in­clude more global mod­els, ex­pected to com­mence with the in­tro­duc­tion of the Kicks com­pact SUV. The fo­cus on elec­tri­fi­ca­tion and con­nected cars has not wa­vered ei­ther. The Dat­sun brand will also be en­hanced to take care of the com­pact seg­ments with more value for money. The com­pany hopes to dou­ble their sales and ser­vice touch points over the next three years from the present 270. Their first Global Dig­i­tal Hub in Ker­ala will also ex­pand and fo­cus on in­no­va­tions in mo­bil­ity to en­hance the brand’s prod­ucts world­wide and in In­dia.
