Jeep have unveiled the latest evolution of their mid-sized luxury SUV, the Cherokee. The updated model is packed with far more advanced features and an option of engines in different output levels along with various four- and two-wheel drive options.
The car is available with the new 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen. The other changes include a new front fascia featuring more aggressive styling cues reminiscent of the larger Grand Cherokee. Similarly, the rear gets new LED tail-lamps. The car now has a lighter bonnet made of aluminium.
Engine options include a new 2.2-litre four-cylinder MultiJet II diesel motor with either 150 PS or 195 PS, with power going to either the front wheels in the 4x2 option for the first time in the Cherokee or all the four wheels in the standard 4x4 option. The power is transferred through a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
