FFFAI In­dia

AV Vi­jayku­mar, from Para­mount Ship­ping Ser­vices based in Chen­nai, has taken over as Chair­man of The Fed­er­a­tion of Freight For­warders’ As­so­ci­a­tions in In­dia (FFFAI). Pre­vi­ously he was Chair­man-elect, FFFAI. For Ku­mar, the first pri­or­ity and fo­cus point will be the as­tound­ing suc­cess of FWC 2018, which will be held from Septem­ber 26-29, at Pull­man Ho­tel, Ae­roc­ity, New Delhi. Cur­rently, the en­tire FFFAI team is work­ing tire­lessly for the suc­cess of this mega event.

DHL Global For­ward­ing Bahrain

Rob Ken­naugh take the lead for the busi­ness in as Coun­try Man­ager in Bahrain. He has been with the com­pany for 25 years, tak­ing on var­i­ous roles across Aus­tralia, China, Oman, Ger­many, Spain and the UK. Ken­naugh said, “I’m hon­oured to be ap­pointed to this role as it marks an­other ca­reer mile­stone for me within the DHL fam­ily. I be­lieve my un­der­stand­ing of the re­gion puts me in good stead to lead the team here in Bahrain, as we work to­gether for greater growth.”

DHL Global For­ward­ing Morocco

DHL Global For­ward­ing has ap­pointed

Chris­telle Fadel as Gen­eral Man­ager, DHL Global For­ward­ing Morocco. Fadel has been with DHL since 2014 and brings with her close to two decades of ex­pe­ri­ence in sup­ply chain and freight for­ward­ing in Ger­many, France and Morocco. Fadel, said, “The eco­nomic out­look for North Africa is ex­tremely pos­i­tive with a pro­jected av­er­age growth of five per­cent for 2018 and 4.6 per­cent for 2019, and we are ready to take the lead in de­vel­op­ing cus­tomised lo­gis­tics so­lu­tions to fur­ther en­hance trade links be­tween Morocco and the global mar­kets.”

DHL Global For­ward­ing Kuwait

Fadi Bas­toni ap­pointed as Coun­try Man­ager to over­see op­er­a­tions in Kuwait. Bas­toni first joined DHL Ex­press Saudi Ara­bia in 2000 where he was, over the years, re­spon­si­ble for var­i­ous func­tions in­clud­ing air freight as well as global cus­tomer so­lu­tions. Bas­toni said, “With the econ­omy poised to see a 3.5 per­cent growth this year and the gov­ern­ment push­ing to main­tain strong spend­ing on trans­port and lo­gis­tics in­fra­struc­ture, Kuwait presents a tremen­dous op­por­tu­nity for us and Kuwaiti busi­nesses.”
