FWC 2018 opens new busi­ness av­enues for In­dian lo­gis­tics

About 50 ex­hibitors from the cross-sec­tion of in­ter­na­tional lo­gis­tics in­dus­try par­tic­i­pated in the FIATA World Congress 2018 (FWC 2018), held from Septem­ber 26-29 at the Pull­man ho­tel in Ae­roc­ity, New Delhi. FWC 2018 was at­tended by 1197 del­e­gates from across the world. S Ra­makr­ishna, Vice Chair­man, FFFAI and Con­vener, FWC 2018, at­trib­uted this suc­cess to co­he­sive ef­forts by FFFAI mem­bers; all sup­port­ing trade as­so­ci­a­tion part­ners; min­istries of civil aviation, com­merce, fi­nance, home af­fairs, ex­ter­nal af­fairs and cul­ture; and govern­ment agen­cies.

High­light­ing the foot­falls at the ex­hi­bi­tion, Ra­makr­ishna main­tained that huge queries were re­ceived from for­eign del­e­gates, es­pe­cially from Africa and Latin Amer­ica. “These two re­gions would be the next emerg­ing busi­ness cen­tres for In­dian lo­gis­tics com­pa­nies,” he said.
