Doyen of logistics dies
It is with great sadness that announces the death of Bharat Jamnadas Thakkar on May 27, 2022. He was aged 68 years. He is survived by his wife Nina Thakkar and two sons. Thakkar passed away due to a prolonged illness, his family members said. The deceased was the Co-founder and Joint Managing Director at ZEUS Air Services. He spent more than four decades serving the Indian logistics and air cargo industry. We extend our deep and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. The industry has been immersed in grief following the death of Thakkar, who was a visionary and veteran logistician. The deceased was cremated on May 29, 2022 in Mumbai.
