ECOM EXPRESS expands to 4 mn sq. ft. to meet demand

Ecom Express Limited announced it has expanded its footprint to 4 million sq. ft. across its network to manage the demands of e-commerce shipping during the festive season. The company has added automation to most of its sort center facilities thus increasing its parcel processing capacity to 6 million per day. A major portion of expansion and investments into automation has been activated in 14 cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Surat, Jaipur, Indore, and Bhubaneshwar. This capacity augmentation has been done to bring supply chain efficiencies to Ecom Express’ in pan-India network that serves 27,000 PIN codes.
