PUNJAB GOVT EMPLOYEE CAUGHT TAKING BRIBE
CHANDIGARH: The anti-corruption branch of CBI here on Tuesday caught a superintendent of the Punjab home department, demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000. Accused Tejvir Singh Walia was demanding the bribe to clear the file of an applicant, who had approached the department to get his file cleared for the extension of his arms licence.
An official said the CBI, Chandigarh, had received a complaint from a resident of Muktsa.
