Janak Mehta ap­pointed as first ever Chair­man of Asia Dyestuff In­dus­try Fed­er­a­tion

Janak Mehta, Imm. Past Pres­i­dent, DMAI has been se­lected as the First ever Chair­man of Asia Dyestuff In­dus­try Fed­er­a­tion (ADIF) for the next five years ten­ure.

ADIF is an apex body and con­glom­er­ate of dyestuff and pig­ment man­u­fac­tur­ers of Asian coun­tries hav­ing a com­bined pro­duc­tion of about US$ 20-25 Bil­lion. In the present con­text of an ap­par­ent shift of the power-cen­tre of the col­orant man­u­fac­tur­ing and con­sumer seg­ments to­wards Asia, ADIF was con­ceived to rep­re­sent and pro­mote the in­ter­ests of dyestuffs and col­orant in­dus­try in this part of the world.

In his maiden ad­dress, Mehta ex­pressed his op­ti­mism that with the sup­port and co-op­er­a­tion of all the stake hold­ers, ADIF would be able to per­form its ac­tiv­i­ties to the ben­e­fits of all con­cerned to usher bet­ter days for the Asian Dyestuff In­dus­try. He ap­pealed to all the mem­bers to come to­gether and join all their ef­forts in this di­rec­tion.
