Koch Mem­brane to pro­vide Puron MBR tech­nol­ogy for waste­water project in China

Koch Mem­brane Sys­tems Inc’s Puron mem­brane bio-re­ac­tor ® (MBR) mod­ules have been se­lected for the ex­pan­sion of the Ji’nan Waste­water Treat­ment Plant I and Plant II in Shan­dong prov­ince, China. The waste­water treat­ment plants will be built and op­er­ated by China Ever­bright Wa­ter Ltd, and the project is ex­pected to be com­mis­sioned by the end of this year.

Koch’s Puron MBR al­ready has a strong pres­ence in var­i­ous municipal and in­dus­trial waste­water treat­ment pro­jects in China. Wang Huailin, Pres­i­dent of Jiangsu Kaimi Mem­brane Tech­nol­ogy Co Ltd, who will de­sign, build and sup­ply the mem­brane sys­tem for th­ese plants, said that they have had good ex­pe­ri­ence with Koch’s Puron MBR tech­nol­ogy in the 55 000 m3/day Bei­jing Dax­ing Tiantanghe Waste Wa­ter Treat­ment Project.
