ames to reckon with in the field of event management are Vinit Ahuja and his business partner Sumit Maulik, founders of Envisage: Events and Entertainment. The duo embarked on a journey together that has not only been challenging, but also fulfilling. What brought them together was a common goal that they both shared. Says Vinit, “Every person has a story. We draft our own stories. It’s our powers from within and our passion to get through our struggle that helps us set new goals. I began by getting entries for a club and that’s how I met Sumit and we shared the same passion for event management. We both struck up a partnership and have been in this business for the past thirteen years and have learnt a lot. My failures have made me grow.” Vinit has achieved success in planning, organising and executing events for big brands, such as Bajaj, Reliance, HDFC Bank, Magna and many more. He adds, “We are a company with an excellent and talented team, which manages multiple events on the same day. Envisage is a result of amazing leadership and
outstanding management. Our motto is that of exceptional experience. Our events are completely customised and they reflect the brand and the personality of our clients.” For Envisage, sky is the limit. Owing to this philosophy, the company is spreading its arms not just across India, but also abroad. “Though our headquarters are in Pune, we have also started offices in Mumbai, Goa and Dubai. Recently, we organised an event in Istanbul, and the experience was exhilarating!” Pertaining to success and failures, Vinit has his own philosophy, “People fail and they fail miserably. But at times, these people do not realise how close they were to success when they gave up. So all I have to say is just go on and success will have to come to you. I have also observed people do not invest hundred per cent in their pursuits, and that’s the main reason they don’t get what they want. They just don’t believe that they have it in them to achieve their goals. That needs to change.” The Citadel Extravaganza is what Vinit looks forward to every year. With the fourth year with Magna, Vinit says, “Thanks to Ashok Dhamankar, this association has been fortifying! I must say this year’s Citadel Extravaganza was stunning and the finalists were impressive not just in regard to their looks, but also in terms of their smartness. The razzmatazz of the glittering, well organised and star-studded Extravaganza just hasn’t worn off.”
