New IAC plant at Mane­sar

In­ter­na­tional Au­to­mo­tive Com­po­nents (IAC) has comis­sioned a new plant at Mane­sar. Built on a land par­cel of 60,000 sq. ft., the plant con­sol­i­dates two older op­er­a­tions in near prox­im­ity. Built with an in­vest­ment of USDtwo mil­lion, the plant will em­ploy 220 peo­ple. It will pro­duce ve­hi­cle head­lin­ers, cen­ter con­sole sys­tems, and in­stru­ment panel com­po­nents apart from pro­vid­ing ex­panded man­u­fac­tur­ing and en­gi­neer­ing sup­port to do­mes­tic and global orig­i­nal equip­ment man­u­fac­tur­ers in Delhi NCR. Ex­pressed Ga­janan Gandhe, SVP – Asia Op­er­a­tions, IAC, that the new fa­cil­ity in Mane­sar will help them to bet­ter serve cus­tomer needs and of­fer re­gional ad­vanced man­u­fac­tur­ing and en­gi­neer­ing ca­pa­bil­i­ties for next-gen­er­a­tion ve­hi­cle in­te­ri­ors. The Mane­sar fa­cil­ity adds to IAC’s re­gional and global en­gi­neer­ing cen­tre at Pune, and to a net­work of five lo­ca­tions across In­dia.
