Fiem part­ners Asian In­dus­try Co. And Toy­ota Tsusho

Fiem In­dus­tries Lim­ited has signed a joint ven­ture agree­ment with Aisan In­dus­try Co., Ltd., Ja­pan and Toy­ota Tsusho Cor­po­ra­tion, to man­u­fac­ture fuel pump mod­ule and IC con­nec­tor for three-wheel­ers in In­dia. This is in view of fuel in­jec­tion sys­tems be­com­ing manda­tory for two-wheel­ers and three­wheel­ers with ef­fect from April 2020 un­der Bharat Stage VI (BS VI) norms. The ad­vanced emis­sion con­trol sys­tem man­u­fac­tur­ing joint ven­ture will set up an in­fra­struc­ture in Salarpur In­dus­trial Area of Ra­jasthan. To be pre­cise, it would be in the ELCINA Elec­tronic Man­u­fac­tur­ing Clus­ter and at­tract an ini­tial in­vest­ment of Ru­pees one-bil­lion in the form of share cap­i­tal by the JV Part­ners. Pro­duc­tion is sched­uled to start from April 2019. Apart from Asian In­dus­try and Toy­ota Tsusho, Fiem has also signed a tech­ni­cal as­sis­tance agree­ment with Toy­o­denso Co. Ltd., Ja­pan, to man­u­fac­ture ‘Bank An­gle Sen­sor’ in In­dia. It is said to be a crit­i­cal com­po­nent for driver safety.
