Bharat Forge inaugurates Industry 4.0 CoE

Bharat Forge has commissioned Industry 4.0 Centre of Excellence (CoE) in partnership with PTC at its manufacturing plant in Pue. Said to be the first of its kind involving PTC and a private sector company, the facility is designed as per Bharat Forge’s Industry 4.0 thought leadership to incubate digital transformation ideas, develop and experience new cuttingedge technologies and train its people to be able to deploy it on the shop floor. This Centre will help Bharat Forge to enable preventive maintenance, improve operational efficiency, product quality and time to market. The centre will also build the foundation for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI). To help accelerate the digital transformation of the manufacturing facilities according to Amit Kalyani, Executive Director, Bharat Forge, the CoE is in-line with the company’s philosophy of elevating productivity and efficiency across all the operating processes.
