CV makers are said to have extended warranty and service periods in the wake of the nationwide lockdown to fight Covid-19. Ashok Leyland has announced an extension of extended warranty and service for all M&HCV models by two months. CV leader Tata Motors has also extended warranty and service periods of its vehicles. The CV makers in the country have also quickly put in place rapid action teams that are looking into issues faced by their customers and helping address them. These include reaching out to stranded truckers, and to ensure that the trucks carrying essential goods are supported by service and spares so that they clock maximum uptime.
