In support of farmers during the lockdown period, Swaraj Tractors introduced an initiative called ‘Aapke Saath Hai Aapka Swaraj’. This involved availability of standby tractors at different locations on a first cum first serve basis is to ensure that the farmers do not face any difficulties in case of their tractors breaking down. Swaraj dealers and its service team also ensured that the company’s customers were extended 24x7 assistance over phone and by other means. With an aim to ensure that the farmer is able to clock the most uptime with his tractor, the company, through its phone helpline and through other means of communication provided information regarding service and spares. Announcing the standby tractor initiative at a time the harvesting season would begin, Swaraj Tractors, a division of the USD 20.7 billion Mahindra Group, as part of its CSR activity, engaged in various activities to support the medical fraternity and public at large during the lockdown period.
