Ninth Busworld India in August 2022

Busworld and Messe Frankfurt India announced the ninth edition of Busworld India. To be held from August 25–27, 2022, in Bengaluru, the bus and coach trade fair will aim at reuniting the industry’s decision makers. This will include private and public bus and coach operators, vehicle manufacturers, component, accessory and software suppliers. A joint statement by the organisers read, “The signs of recovery in bus transportation in these past few months have brought back the spark among bus manufacturers and sellers. Through Busworld India 2022, we aim to strongly contribute to the industry’s revival and bring crucial and invaluable business opportunities to the industry players across India and worldwide.” With public transportation known to have taken a bad hit with Covid19 induced restrictions, the ‘COVID-19

Community Mobility Report’ released by Google comes as a welcome development. As per the report, public transportation shows a steady recovery of (-) nine per cent over the last three months (June-August). It is therefore expected to reach the pre-Covid19 levels in the coming months that Busworld hopes to tap into.
