Tata Motors e-buses shod with Bridgestone Ecopia

Tata Motors’ 150 e-buses in Mumbai are shod with Bridgestone Ecopia tyres. Manufactured for the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST), the ebuses are expected to benefit from the tyre series claimed to offer advanced low-rolling resistance and offer fueleconomy saving. Safety and longevity are among the added benefits. In the Ecopia R156, a special nano pro-tech compound technology offers better heat resistance thereby a prolonged life. Sunil Puri, Head at Commercial Tyres Business, Bridgestone India said, “It is a proud moment for all of us at Bridgestone to partner with Tata Motors as they roll out their electric buses for BEST. This is an ecofriendly tyre and therefore a suitable fitment for electric buses.”
