First public EV charging plaza

India’s first public electric vehicle charging plaza has been inaugurated at Nehru Place DTC terminal in Delhi by Convergence Energy Services Ltd.(CESL) in collaboration with DTC. DTC is simultaneously developing seven other EV charging and battery swapping stations at DTC terminals or depots in India. Each of the seven charging stations will have six charging points for two and three-wheelers, and the rest for charging four wheelers. The ministry is also looking at 100 public charging stations through an open tender, mentioned Kailash Gahlot, Cabinet Minister, Govt of NCT of Delhi (Transport).
