Satrac Defence solutions

Trailer manufacturer Satrac has inaugurated Unit-4 dedicated to the production of special defence trailers in a bid to attain a higher degree of self-reliance to align with the ‘’Atmanirbhar Bharat’ vision. The company will produce superstructures especially engineered keeping to the requirements of defence. Satrac claimed to offer lightweight solutions with a high payload carrying capacity, a low total cost of ownership and rigid structures with extreme shock-absorbing capability for off-highway applications. Since 2014, Satrac has been a major contributor in defence and hopes to add to revenue streams with the niche offerings. The manufacturer is banking on well-established production techniques using tools like plasma cutters, robotic SAW welders, high capacity CNC shears to name a few.
