PM Kisan Tractor Yojana 2021
To aid Small and Marginal Farmers (SMFs) financially for buying new tractors by offering 25-50 per cent subsidy, the Central Government of India has launched a PM Kisan Tractor Yojana. The online registration for the same has been started on pmkisan.gov.in and pmkisan.nic.in. Farmers who have not purchased any tractors in the past seven years are eligible for the scheme and to avail the benefits they need to provide their copy and original of Aadhaar card, Voter Card, Ration Card or Driving Licence along with land papers, bank account passbook, Pan card, two passport size photographs. For the farmers to be eligible for the scheme they should have a piece of land in his/her name. The subsidy can be Subsidised only on one tractor by only one member from a family and it can only be availed once. There are also state-wise websites available for registration.
FM Logistics has announced its new strategy ‘Powering 2030’. It plans to double its revenue to Euro 3 billion by 2030 from Euro 1.4 billion as a part of the strategy which is centred on omnichannel supply chain services, urban logistics, sustainability, distribution and customer experience. It also targets to achieve a yearly growth of 35-40 per cent by the year end. After witnessing an increase of 20 per cent in its warehousing footprint, company is now looking at achieving carbon neutrality for its warehousing operations by 2030. It has already recorded 58 per cent growth in turnover during the first half of FY 202122. Talking about the strategy FM Logistic CEO, Jean-Christophe Machet mentioned,”FM Logistic has a comprehensive strategy to drive profitable growth. In a time of rapid change, our priority is to help our customers build sustainable omnichannel supply chains.” With a focus on sustainable development, FM Logistic’s sustainability strategy revolves around three priorities including employee wellbeing, the environment and eco-efficient services. “We are focussed on developing Grade A Multi-client Facilities (MCFs), dedicated warehouses near our customers, manufacturing centers, and modern urban logistic hubs - all interconnected with an agile and dense transportation and last mile delivery network,” mentioned Alexandre Amine SOUFIANI, MD, FM Logistic India. The company is also strengthening its value added services like copacking, automated labelling and last stage customisation for digital marketplace readiness.
BorgWarner Inc has received an order from a major German OEM to supply HVH250 (High Voltage Hairpin) electric motor. BorgWarner will provide two HVH motors per axle for the heavy duty truck model with power of 175 kW and 425 Nm of torque density at 350 volts. Speaking of offering electric drive technology for the battery-electric truck for heavy-duty transport, Stefan Demmerle, President and General Manager, BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems said, “Our proven HVH250 motor delivers the power and durability required for this demanding application.” Not only is the motor helping customers electrify their trucks by meeting 95 per cent efficiency, but it also provides them with a broad portfolio of technologies for electric vehicles, including drive modules, battery packs, power electronics, high voltage battery and cabin heaters, fuel cell air supply systems and more. It’s key features include HVH stator winding technology along with the choice of direct drive, chain drive, belt drive or integrated options. Offered as fully housed or as rotor/stator assemblies, the motor is equipped with an internal permanent magnet rotor and proprietary insulation system for added durability.
