Kerala Tourism launches ‘Kerevan Kerala’
DICV launched a Caravan called ‘Kerevan Kerala’.The inauguration was presided by Kerala Tourism Minister, P. A. Mohammed Riyas and Transport Minister, Antony Raju, and other senior dignitaries from the state government. With body work done by JCBL Ltd., the new Caravan is based on the Bharatbenz 1017 chassis and is available in two variants, which accommodates two-four passengers. It offers amenities such as recliner seats, a television, kitchen area with all necessary appliances and storage for tableware. Commenting on the new launch, Rajaram Krishnamurthy, Vice President, Marketing, DICV said, “The pandemic has fundamentally transformed the trend and approach to our travel habits. The ‘Keravan Caravan’ epitomises absolute luxury and unparalleled comfort. We are thrilled to witness the gradual revival of the tourism industry and welcome the new investor-friendly tourism policy.” Caravan was launched at Autobahn Trucking Dealership, Trivandrum. ther states like Maharashtra have also taken to the caravans (motorhomes) to boost tourism.
