Tata Motors deliver e-buses to AJL

Tata Motors Ltd. delivered 60 e-buses to Ahmedabad Janmarg Ltd. (AJL). Supplied under the FAME II initiative through a Gross Cost Contract (GCC), the Ultra-urban 9/9 AC buses delivered under the contract will ply on the Ahmedabad Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) corridor. The 24-seater zero-emission buses will cater to the emerging regions in the city besides the route leading to the new airport. Flagged off at the Sabarmati River Front Event Centre by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel and Kiritkumar Parmar, Mayor of Ahmedabad, in the presence of dignitaries from the Gujarat state government will see the buses being backed by supporting infrastructure.
