New Appointments at Greaves electric Mobility

Sanjay Behl has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Greaves Cotton subsidiary, Greaves Electric Mobility. Behl will report to the Managing Director and Group CEO Nagesh Basavanhalli. He will be responsible for spearheading the growth of the electric mobility business at the company. In the past, he has held several leadership roles across Nextqore Inc. as the cofounder, and in leadership roles at Reliance, Nokia and Hindustan Lever. In a recent initiative, in line with the growth plans, the company has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sun Mobility to deploy swappable batteries for the latter’s electric vehicles across India. Ram Rajappa, Chief Technology Officer, Greaves Electric Mobility said, “Together with Sun Mobility, we would be addressing one of the critical elements in EV adoption in terms of range anxiety, providing an uninterrupted journey.” Anant Badjatya, the CEO of Sun Mobility, added, “Sun Mobility has always been committed to bringing forth technologically superior, convenient, and sustainable solutions to the EV space and this mirrors well with Greaves Cotton’s aim to bring about the best products for an uninterrupted future in mobility.”
