Nagpur to Pune in eight hours

The distance between Pune and Nagpur is about 730 kilometres with the road travel time at approximately 15 hours. The Nagpur-Mumbai Samridhi Mahamarg, according to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will be linked to the newly proposed Pune-Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) Access Control Green Expressway near Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. In a Twitter post thread, the Minister for Road, Transport, and Highways (MoRTH) informed that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will construct this road with a completely new alignment. Commuters travelling from Nagpur to Pune are expected to save eight hours of travel time. He gave a breakup of the commute from Pune to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) as two and half hours and from Nagpur to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) in five and half hours through Samruddhi Mahamarg, totalling to eight hours from Nagpur to Pune.
