MTS is not adhering to the Consumer Protection Act guidelines set by TRAI. Even after sending several mails, no reply has been received from their end. While I had cleared the last bill and requested cancellati­on of the account, I received a text message stating that Rs 195 was my due bill. However, the period for which the bill was generated was when the connection was put in ‘inactive’ state by the service provider itself. I have sent several mails but not a single response has been received. Also, the company had taken a security deposit that is yet to be returned.
