My sister’s lehenga was damaged by White Tiger dry cleaning despite mentioning thrice on the bill that it needed to be processed with care. In my last conversati­on with them, they offered Rs 9,000 along with damaged lehenga despite knowing its original cost was Rs 55,000, as was clearly mentioned in their invoice. While the compensati­on offered is way too low, they certainly cannot understand the emotional attachment with the dress – my sister bought it with her first salary. She also had to miss an important wedding as no other dress could be arranged in the last minute. This left my sister so disturbed that our parents had to travel all the way from Aligarh to Delhi. The staff at White Tiger is always rude and shows irresponsi­ble behavior, with no regret about the damage. We have even told them that they may compensate by buying the same lehenga instead of compensati­ng with cash, but they pay no heed. Prabhat Saubhri
