MTS is not ad­her­ing to the Con­sumer Pro­tec­tion Act guide­lines set by TRAI. Even af­ter send­ing sev­eral mails, no re­ply has been re­ceived from their end. While I had cleared the last bill and re­quested can­cel­la­tion of the ac­count, I re­ceived a text mes­sage stat­ing that Rs 195 was my due bill. How­ever, the pe­riod for which the bill was gen­er­ated was when the con­nec­tion was put in ‘in­ac­tive’ state by the ser­vice provider it­self. I have sent sev­eral mails but not a sin­gle re­sponse has been re­ceived. Also, the com­pany had taken a se­cu­rity de­posit that is yet to be re­turned.
