LCD Viewers/Viewfinder

Consumer Voice - - Digital Cameras -

What started with little screens has become a ‘screen size matters’ game. Sharper LCD screens sized 3.5 inches on an average are quite common on average compact cameras. These displays are accurate in framing the actual image – better than most optical viewfinders. However, they are hard to see in bright sunlight. Called ‘live view’, the LCD functionality has been available in point-and-shoot for years. A camera with both an optical viewfinder and an LCD viewfinder is more versatile, as it enables easy shooting in bright sunlight, a common condition in India.
