PHYSICAL OBSERVATIONS

Convenience in Handling, Portability and Size

The observations were made by a panel of three members. Basically all tested brands were found to be portable, though there were differences in size.

Aesthetics and Design

All the brands were good with respect to design and aesthetics. Protection cover against dust and moisture for USB connectivity were provided.

Robustness

A USB flash drive is typically made of plastic or metal, protecting the electronic parts against mechanical stress and even possible short circuits. The product’s outer body material should be strong enough to withstand sudden fall. To check this aspect, the USB drive was dropped from a height of approximately 3.5 feet on cemented floor. No damage was observed in any of the products tested.
