Key Findings

Unit price: Unit price per serving was cheapest for Tasty Treat (Rs 9.75). The other three brands were all higher at Rs 11.25. Net weight: Knorr, Maggi and Tasty Treat were found with more than the declared net weight on the packets. Only brand Ching’s was found with less than the declared net weight on the packet; however, the deficit was within the maximum permissible error allowed in the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011.
