CONSUMER VOICE
I am totally frustrated with the services of Reliance Communications . Some of their valueadded services (VAS) automatically get installed on my number and they deduct the available balance on their own. Customer care simply denies refund on such auto services. Although the matter is of a mere six rupees for one VAS, what concerns me is the volume of the fraud since there may be many customers who they are cheating in this manner. Gaurang Bajpai It is apparent from TRAI regulations that any VAS without specific consent is not chargeable service. Therefore, a consumer cannot be asked to pay for the service. You may file a written complaint to the nodal officer and escalate the case to appellate if you do not get refund.
