Oh, but Money Can’t Buy Me Love

Living in a state where tourism is one of the main income generators, I am aware of how much the local communities have given up so as to have the continuous stream of tourists. It is often pointed out to me that the tourists are all paying good money to come to ‘paradise’ and so the locals should not complain too much. I can only quote the Beatles here: ‘money can’t buy me love’ – or, if I may add, fresh air or drinking water or clean surroundings!
