COMPLAINT
I am facing reception issues with my Tata Sky dish. The engineer says that the dish is of a smaller size and is therefore not being able to receive appropriate signal. He asked me to upgrade to a bigger dish, for which I would be charged. However, this was never told to me by the company when they issued a connection and sold me the set-top box. Moreover, I own the set-top box only – the dish, etc., belongs the company. Is it not their responsibility to fix signal problems as we pay on monthly basis for their service? Karan Puri To improve signal quality is the responsibility of the service provider. The consumer cannot be asked to pay extra for the same. Equipment like dish or wiring is the responsibility of the service provider and they must ensure that they are intact so that customers get hassle-free service.
