I was us­ing the Rs 49 rental plan of Voda­fone. How­ever, the com­pany it­self changed the plan to Rs 199 rental with­out in­form­ing me or tak­ing my con­sent. When I vis­ited a Voda­fone store on 2 April 2015, I was told that the con­cerned per­son from cus­tomer care would get in touch with me. I still await that call. On the con­trary, when I called the cus­tomer care sev­eral times, I was told to send an email. Un­til to­day there has been no re­sponse to my email ei­ther.

Sampa Ghosh Any change of plan with­out ex­plicit con­sent of the sub­scriber is un­fair trade prac­tice in­tended to make money by foul means. The con­sumer needs prompt at­ten­tion and the com­pany must re­vert to the plan of his choice.
