Schmitten Creamy Milk Chocolate

There were three variants of Schmitten bars available at the store: Creamy Milk Chocolate, Milk Chocolate with Roasted Nuts and Raisins, and Milk Chocolate with Crunchy Rice Crispies. The Creamy Milk Chocolate was first on the list at Rs 40 for a 35 gram bar. The one that I picked up had probably dried up due to temperature shocks/variations. The taste was flaky and the appearance not appealing at all. The chocolate had a bad aftertaste. The packaging, however, scored full marks. It came in hard-paper wrap, a dark-brown wrapper in landscape format – all the other chocolates bars were vertically designed. The bar was then wrapped in an airtight silver foil with Schmitten inscribed all over, giving it a premium feel. Overall not a great experience, though I was really looking forward to it.
